How to Care for Your Clothes
Taking proper care of your garments helps preserve their quality, shape, and feel over time.
At BB.GG, we select materials with intention — and with the right care, they can stay with you for years.
Cashmere
Soft, delicate, and naturally luxurious — cashmere deserves gentle care.
Wash:
Use lukewarm water (around 20°C / 70°F) with a small amount of cashmere detergent or baby shampoo.
Soak for 10–15 minutes, then gently clean without rubbing or twisting. Rinse thoroughly and press out excess water.
Dry:
Lay flat on a clean towel and reshape to its original form.
Never hang or tumble dry.
Storage:
Fold neatly and store in a breathable bag.
Add cedar blocks or moth repellent for protection.
Pilling:
Pilling is natural. Remove gently with a cashmere comb.
Silk
Light, smooth, and refined — silk requires a softer touch.
Wash:
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent.
Avoid soaking for too long and do not rub harshly.
Dry:
Gently press out water with a towel and lay flat or hang to air dry.
Keep away from direct sunlight.
Iron:
Use low heat or steam, preferably with a cloth between the iron and fabric.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid sharp objects that may snag the fabric.
Cotton
Comfortable, breathable, and easy to care for — cotton is made for everyday wear.
Wash:
Machine wash in cold or warm water with similar colors.
Use mild detergent.
Dry:
Air dry when possible, or tumble dry on low heat to prevent shrinking.
Iron:
Iron on medium heat if needed.
Storage:
Fold or hang depending on the garment type.
Good care is part of good style.
The better you treat your clothes, the longer they will stay with you — looking and feeling just right.
